I will post an invitation here at 1:00 No one attended the Google meet today. Is there a better time that works for everyone? Comment below if there is a time that would be convenient to meet online. Due tomorrow: Malala article questions answered in CommonLit Good morning! Today is going to be an awesome day! Please complete the Remote Learning Survey on this page to help me meet your needs while we are learning remotely. Today I have just a few things for you to complete:

Today, students need to complete the following:
Instructions and links to all of the assignments above can be found on the Assignments tab of this website. If you have difficulty reaching the required sites, please contact me through email. I am happy to help you troubleshoot any problems. If unique circumstances prevent this altogether, we can arrange for an alternative assignment. I have created a new page on this website dedicated to digital curriculum and resources. The programs I have highlighted on the page are meant for students in Middle School or younger. I have had many parents of students in grades K-6 contact me about homeschooling and curriculum resources, so I have tried to create a comprehensive list of free educational resources for students and parents to use. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. All the best, Mrs. McCartney We all received a notification yesterday that Alachua County Public Schools will be closed until at least April 15. In response to this, today is the first day of my class being held remotely for instructional continuity. Instructions for each of these assignments can be found on the Assignments page of this website. All assignments will be graded and documented on Skyward.
We are not in school this week due to recommendations by the CDC. I previously announced that all make-up work was due yesterday but students did not have a chance to turn in any completed assignments. If work has been completed to replace low grades in the class, please take a picture or scan the completed work and email it to [email protected] Credit will be given for completed assignments. While we are out, every student needs to be reading for at least 20 minutes daily, preferably more. I will be giving credit for completing a reading log during these two weeks upon return to school. This is not limited to books and novels. Articles, journals, and magazines are also an option. There are several online options that are available at no cost other than internet:
I will be adding more resources as they become available. Please email me with any questions during the break. I will check my email daily.
